Miraflores, garden of an artist-scientist

A presentation by Anne Elise Urrutia, author of “Miraflores, San Antonio’s Mexican Garden of Memory” to the College of Liberal and Fine Arts, on the multi-faceted garden of Dr. Aureliano Urrutia. Urrutia was a prominent physician from Mexico City, who built Miraflores garden after immigrating to San Antonio from Mexico in 1914. Free and open to the public. Hosted by Dr. Glenn Martinez, Dean of COLFA, and Dr. Wendy Barker, Poet-in Residence and Pearl LeWinn Endowed Chair in Creative Writing. Free and open to the public.
